ATTENTION TARINGA RESIDENTS

Q. What does ‘Reading Property Partners No. 1’ want to do in the Taringa community?

A. Develop 3 buildings 14 storeys in height in an area approved for a maximum of 5 storeys

(They will be taller than the Toowong Village Office Tower!)

Reading Property Partners No 1 Pty Ltd have made a development
application to Brisbane City Council for Preliminary Approval (under
Section 3.1.6 of IPA) to override the existing planning scheme




Are you comfortable with developers attempting to totally override
existing planning legislation in your community with no regard for the
impact of their proposals?



Are you satisfied with a Council that does not fully represent the interests
of the community while favourably supporting unreasonable
development?


Consider the impacts on your property and lifestyle… ..overshadowing
